1953-57 Studied at Slade School of Art, where he received a scholarship
1957-70 Lecturer in Painting at Hertfordshire College of Art and Design
1970-75 Head of Painting at Hertfordshire College of Art and Design
1975-91 Visiting Tutor in Painting at Camberwell School of Art
1991-2020 Lived and worked in Cambridge
