Lill Tschudi

Printed in three colours (dark blue, brown and viridian) on thin off-white oriental laid paper. This print was first shown in 1933 at an exhibition of linocuts by Claude Flight, Edith Lawrence and Tschudi, held in Montreux, Switzerland. It was shown the following year in group exhibitions at Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool, and at Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery in 1939. It is currently on show as part of Cutting Edge: Modernist British Printmaking, a retrospective of the Grosvenor School, at Dulwich Picture Gallery.
