Danny Romeril

Born in Jersey, Channel Islands, in 1996, Danny Romeril completed a Foundation Diploma at Highlands College, Jersey, before studying for a BA in Fine Art at Central Saint Martins, London, graduating in 2019. His practice explores the intersections of memory, place, and everyday experience, often drawing inspiration from the spaces and objects that shape contemporary life.

In 2019, Romeril undertook a residency at La Brea Studio, Los Angeles, alongside Florence Hutchings, culminating in an exhibition at The Cabin, Los Angeles. The Cabin, Los Angeles.

We were delighted to present Romeril’s recent solo exhibition, Bric-a-Brac, at The Redfern Gallery, Cork Street (2025), which further established his distinctive approach to painting and contemporary still life. Romeril continues to develop a distinctive body of work that combines careful observation with an intuitive approach to colour, composition, and narrative.
