1952-59 Studied at Loughborough College of Art, then the Royal Academy
1959-66 Taught at Loughborough College of Art
1967 Began to be represented by the Redfern Gallery
1969 Commissioned to paint a portrait of Princess Margaret
1974 Made a Hon MA Loughborough (and Hon DLitt, 1992)
