1923 Born in Liverpool
Studied at Liverpool College of Art
1951 Took up a teaching post in Penzance, where he became a member of the Penwith Society
1959 First exhibition at the Waddington Gallery
1960 First exhibition in New York, at Durlacher's Gallery
1964-84 Made Head of the Department of Fine Art at Plymouth College
1986 Moved to Penzance
2002 Died
