This major new exhibition is the culmination of a year's working process - a winter residency and festival open studio exhibition at Aldeburgh Music's The Pumphouse, Suffolk, being the concentrated part of it.

Born in London in 1929, Adrian Morris spent his childhood in Somerset before the family moved to the USA, where he attended a progressive school in Vermont. There his precocious talent for painting, inspired by the surrealists in New York, was given full rein.

Reliefs and Paintings
Feiler's personal exploration of pictorial space has taken a new direction in the series of painted reliefs made of layered perspex that he started to make in 2008. Elusive Space includes twenty of these and places them in the context of Feiler's art over the past sixty years, exploring the strong sense of continuity as his work has changed and the unaltering connection to the natural world: "the abstract and the absolute are grounded in the real."
