 | Aquatint This is an artist's proof, signed, aside the edition of 60 impressions 43.4 x 61.7 cm (inches: 17 x 24¼.) Sidey 18 From the series 'India, Mother' - seven aquatints derived from over eighty watercolours made by the artist while in India and Nepal. He left England on 1st January 1970, going by train to Istanbul, by air to Baghdad and then Basra, and by boat to Bombay via the Persian Gulf. In his three months in India, Procktor visited Bombay, Udaipur, Jaipur, Khajuraho, Agra, Kathmandu and Calcutta, from where he flew back via Rome at the end of March.
