Sarah Armstrong-Jones was born in London in 1964. She paints still life and landscape, working form drawings and gouaches made on the spot.
She followed her Foundation course at Camberwell School of Art with a course in Printed Textiles at Middlesex Polytechnic, before completing her studies at Royal Academy Schools where she won the Winsor & Newton Prize in 1988 and the Creswick Landscape Prize in 1990.
Her work has been shown regularly in group exhibitions including the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition and in Paris. Her first solo show at Redfern was in 1995. She has exhibited regularly there in London and with Redfern at Art Palm Beach and at the Salon de Mars, Geneva.
